X, when it was first released a few years ago, was possibly the most unique rollercoaster in the US. As the first 3-dimensional coaster built on this continent, you have not only the rolling, twisting, spinning and twirling track, but the car rolls, twists, spins and twirls too. The comment most overheard when walking past this coaster is "I'm going to get sick just watching it!" In actuality, it is smooth, fast and over way too soon. I can't give a whole lot of detail since the boarding crew takes away my glasses and hair clip before the ride

leaving the ride blurry from hair in the face and out of focus. Still, I try to ride X every time I'm up at my home park.
X2 is a reworking of the old X. They smoothed out a few minor problems and added lights and sound. Whoopee. Can you hear the sarcasm in that word? Yep, I might as well just close my eyes (which I have been known to do) and just enjoy the waltz of the coaster. Now it's smooth, fast, blurry, out of focus with BRIGHT FLASHES in your face. Wow. What a difference.
